"they who brought the monsoon ?"
After 2 weeks of monitoring the erratic weather and sea condition,
Poh sms us at 10pm the night before
"we decided to drive over tomorrow.....
.... no pain, no gain...."
while they were driving from Penang to here,
we took Cody out for a spin to check it out there...
....... W H O A ..... W H O A .... W H O A .....
....... the rollers were 2-3m high ......
...... the waves were swallowing .......
......... we surrendered, came back......
.... no fish for dinner ....
The night they arrived,
besides the usual heavy rain, for once,
we've strong howling winds and thunderstorm the whole night thru' ...
ha ha ha .....
so, THEY, who brought the monsoon from the West... ?
the West must be rejoicing now !!
Next Day, the sea was just impossible....
they sleep in, had a long lazy breakfast &
took the kayaks up the river,
cycled around shopping for snacks from "Puasa stalls"
and even visited P.Duyong..
The next day, the sea relented a little...
so they made a bash for it...
"....no pain, no gain..... "
Poh, Joo Kean and Megan, thanks for being with us...
but hey..... you forgot to bring the monsoon back !!

2nd day, the sea finally gave in.... ... but just for a day ...

ha ha ...after all the "char bee hoon", Joo kean landed her fishes...

the earlier garfish was no sweat lah.. NOW, THIS is giving her a fight of her life.... ... after a half hour fight and boat chase .... the mysteriously monster burst her 40 pound line & got away ... ...... ha ha ha ...... but it's definitely an EXCITING WAY TO ROUNDOFF THE TRIP !!
