it's Malaysian 50th Merdeka Day today...

a day for joyous celebration ! 

so out we went for celebration with our good old friend, Ghani ! 

and whoa.......

it's indeed a great day ...great day indeed ......

Ghani's first strike, the fish leaped into the air....oh oh...what's that  ??  then while keeping my line, another bite my line...whoa......it's the same fish..... but it soon leaped, flipped and freed !! left ghani to fight with his !

During the next troll.....I landed one too !!  Bone fish ...w h o a  !!.....a true game fish indeed !!!  my arms "lembek" and my belly's all bruised !

then all the snappers came !!

Family Albulidae, BONEFISHES Albula vulpes   Description:  silvery color with bluish or greenish back; slender, round body; snout long, conical, aiming downward and overhanging lower jaw; dark streaks between scales on upper half of body and faint crossbands extending down to lateral line; extremities of dorsal and caudal fins shaded with black.
